Captain
Steve Wooster purchased Aristocat in February 2006. UK born, in London
and educated at Westcliff-on-Sea Grammar School in Essex, Steve’s
an extremely experienced and accomplished sailor having started sailing
at just eight years old!
His working life has been divided between careers at sea in the Merchant Navy and later very successfully in the hospitality and catering industry in the UK and elsewhere. Indeed he’s no stranger to Aristocat either, he worked along side John, the former owner for over twelve months skippering the boat. Steve holds a number of relevant Captain qualifications recognised by the BVI authorities and US Coast guard.
His intentions for the business are clear; he wants to maintain the traditions and high standards established by John and Sandra and using his knowledge and experience, where possible improve on them. When he's not sailing Steve's interests are listening to music and scuba diving.
